1. HOW TO ENTER THE CONTEST

a. The ADITZ giveaway (“Contest”) will begin on Monday, June 9th, 2008 at 6:00 am Pacific Time (“PT”) and will end on Friday, July 25th, 2008 at 10:00 pm PT (the “Contest Period”).

b. To participate in the Contest, you may enter via the following method: Listen to KZZO (“Station”) each weekday during the Contest period between 6:00 am PT and 10:00 pm PT for the on-air talent to announce the cue to call. After the cue to call is announced, the 100th caller to get through to the Station’s contest line at 916-766-1005 will win a prize, subject to confirmation of eligibility. At the time of their call, all winning callers will be required to provide their first and last name, complete address including zip code, telephone number, and date of birth. The cue to call will be announced four (4) times each weekday during the Contest Period and up to one-hundred and fifty (150) winners will be selected during the Contest Period.

c. The Station is not responsible for telephone service outages, delays, busy signals, equipment malfunctions and any other technological difficulties that may prevent an individual from completing his/her telephone call.

d. There is no limit to the number of times a listener may attempt to call in to qualify, but a listener may only win once during the Contest Period.

2. ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS

a. The contest is open to all persons who are 18 years of age or older and who reside in the greater Sacramento area.  Employees of KZZO, its licensee, and each of their corporate parents, subsidiaries, and affiliates, their advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, other radio stations in the Sacramento metropolitan area and the members of their immediate families or households are ineligible to participate or win. 

b. Listeners are eligible to win a Station contest only once every thirty days and a prize valued at $600 or more only once every six months. Only one winner per household is permitted in any Contest administered by the Station.

3. PRIZES:

a. One hundred and fifty (150) prizes will be awarded.  Each prize consists of one (1) pair of tickets The 12th Annual A day In The Zone on August 17th, 2008 at Gibson Ranch located at 8552 Gibson Ranch Rd, Elverta, CA, 95626. ARV: $54.00.

b. The winner must pick up their prize at the station located at 280 Commerce Circle, Sacramento, CA, 95815. The winner will forfeit any prize not claimed by Friday, August 16th, 2008 at 5:30 pm PT. In the event that a prize is mailed to the winner, it will be with the prior written consent of the winner and therefore, winner assumes the risk of its loss.  The Station is not responsible for the safe arrival of a prize.

c. There is no substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent for prizes, except that the Station may, at its sole discretion, substitute prizes of comparable value or cash. The prizes are expressly limited to the items listed above and do not include taxes, gratuities, or any other expenses. Other restrictions may apply.

4. SELECTION OF WINNERS

a. Decisions of Station management with respect to the Contest are final.

b. Up to one-hundred and fifty (150) winners will be selected as described in Section 1.b. of these rules.

c. Odds of becoming a winner depend upon the number and order of calls received. 

d. Contestants must listen to win.

e. Winners must execute and return any required affidavit of eligibility and/or liability/publicity release by Friday, August 16th, 2008 at 5:30 pm PT or prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will not be chosen.  If a potential winner cannot be contacted, fails to sign and return the required affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release within the required time period, or if a prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, potential winner forfeits prize.

5. CONDITIONS

a. Payments of all federal, state and local taxes are solely the responsibility of the winners.  Winners may be required to sign an IRS Form W-9 or the equivalent.

b. By participating in the sweepstakes, the winners agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this sweepstakes without additional financial or other compensation, and, where legal, to sign a publicity release confirming such consent prior to acceptance of the prize.

c. Prior to awarding any prize, the Station in its sole discretion may require sweepstakes winners to sign a liability release, agreeing to hold CBS Radio, the Station, its corporate licensee, and each of their parent, subsidiary and affiliated corporations, and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the Contest.

d. The Station reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the Contest, including the substitution of prize or equivalent value, which will become effective upon announcement.

e. Failure to comply with the Contest rules may result in an entrant’s disqualification solely at the discretion of the Station.

f. The Contest Entities are not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the Contest, or in the announcement of a prize.

g. Copies of the written Contest rules and a list of winners (when complete) are available during regular business hours at the main studio of KZZO, 280 Commerce Circle, Sacramento, CA 95815
